1.4 Installing the Kit

To install the conversion kit:

1. Turn the key switch to the bottom position and lower the access door.

2. Remove the front panel as shown in Figure 1–1.

3. If the console cable is present, remove the console cable as shown in

Figure 1–2.

4. If the Ethernet cable is present, remove the Ethernet cable from the

I/O panel.

CAUTION

Use the antistatic wrist strap and the antistatic mat when

working with the modules.
